Insulation and wire mesh begin the process for stucco application.

Surveying, red dirt, leveling, and tamping the site. The pila (water tank) is a plastic tank. Although, it can be built may ways, Vertical Construction places it in a cement block enclosure to prevent collapse against sizemic activity and the weight of sand.
Foundation forms straight and level, ready for rebar and wire reinforcement.
In-floor Plumbing installed prior to rebar and wire mesh installation in slab. Drain plumbing vent tubes are installed to be aligned with interior walls so as not to cut open block portions of wall to be installed later. Often times vent tubes are over-looked by local builders which can lead to draining and odor issues.

Plastic and mesh reinforcement is laid before the slab is poured.

Custom made roof vigettas are cured before installation. Slab has cured and block walls go up. Lumber for walls is stored on a level surface and banded. Banding remains in place throghout the project to prevent warping.

The homeowner inspecting the project.

It's always great day when the homeowner is smiling!

Structural for stairs to roof.......

.......... the stairs to the roof.
Why do we pour the roof by hand? This section is small where the homeowner wants the roof deck. Overall it saves the homeowner money in cement batch plant and pump truck fees.
Adjustable steel posts are installed below concrete patio/roof to ensure that the roof remains level and that the roof will not develop cracks as the concrete cures. The posts remain in place for a minimum of two weeks.

Forethought -- As concrete block is installed, electric and plumbing are put in place. Common local practice is to construct the walls and cut the walls open later for utility installation, often times compromising the structural integrity, not to mention cosmetics.

And the wood framing begins...............

Roof angles allow for rain runoff.
